Languages and Multilingualism

As the language of most of the material to be archived is not English, it is often justified to describe the documents in their original language. Certain AMS menu items, therefore, provide the option of creating document-related descriptions in the original language of the documents.

As the language of the AMS is English, the description option in the original language can always only be additional, and its content must strictly follow the English description. So more accurate translations are needed.
